Sectoral Group Meeting Schedule |

Best Management Practices (BMPs) are policies, practices, procedures, or structures implemented to mitigate the adverse environmental impacts resulting from anthropogenic activities or disturbances to a landscape. BMPs are categorized as structural or non-structural. A BMP policy may affect the limits on a development.
The purpose of these meetings is not to criticize current practices, but to look years and decades into the future and examine strategic directions that can be taken within a sector, and across sectors, to minimize the disturbance to the lanscape. These meetings will focus on only those best practices which the ALCES model suggests will provide the best payback. Brad Stelfox will run the meetings and use the ALCES model outputs as a focus for discussion.
There are seven sectoral groups looking at BMPs. Please see below for the current schedule for each group. Heather Gariepy is coordinating and scheduling.
